Join Lotus Network for a Mid-Century Architecture Meander!

Arapahoe+Acres-1

Join us on June 14th at 9 AM for a 1.5 to 2-hour walk through Arapahoe Acres.

Arapahoe Acres is like an active museum of mid-century design developed by talented architect and builder Edward Hawkins between 1949 and 1957.

We will learn about Hawkins and the first mid-century neighborhood in the country to be added to the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). Life magazine featured Arapahoe Acres in “Best Houses under $15,000; Eight fine, mass-produced examples show buyers what they can get in low-priced homes.”

Learn more about Broadway, the city of Englewood, and some of the local nearby parks.
